At once modern and rugged, elegant and understated, this intimate Amangiri elopement is proof that creating beautiful designs in the most remote places is always well worth it.

Villa Corsini, Tuscany, Italy

Luxury wedding design

As luxury international wedding designers, we’ve been curating intimate weddings and events in Italy for the better part of a decade – but we know that every job stands apart. For every celebration, we look for a place that is unique, that plays in YOUR story, that reminds you of your journey, that invokes emotion and feels like it was made for you. Because at the end of the day, that’s what it’s all about, right?

Last fall, our team traveled to Tuscany to create at a dream venue, a place with 700-plus years of culture in the making. Located in the rolling hills of Chianti on the outskirts of Florence, Villa Corsini is a mecca for Italian history and art. Surrounded by the unparalleled Florentine countryside, Villa Corsini lives in two worlds: its exterior is an invitation to bask in some of Italy’s oldest vineyards and olive groves. Its interior brings you into a place once inhabited by the Medici and Corsini families; the halls are adorned with Baroque frescos that have been witness to lavish banquets and dinner parties for centuries.

When designing for this venue, we knew we wanted to curate a sleek, sophisticated and modern feel while honoring the traditional elements of the space. Throughout both the ceremony and reception designs, we leaned into garden and Tuscan-inspired moments mixed with sleek lines and modern touches.

For our ceremony design at Villa Corsini, we pulled inspiration from the garden of Meridione, highlighting the soft daisy white colors of the garden and incorporating the ancient terra cotta statues and craftsmanship. Wrought iron chairs formed simple rows in the southern Italian garden, creating an intimate and understated aisle that perfectly framed the rolling hills of Tuscany. At the altar, blush, chartreuse and neutral floral clusters cascaded from the stone steps to the garden floor, evoking modern romance in this historic Italian setting.

For the reception, we chose to design a dinner party in the Galleria del Pandolta Sacchi – one of the most impressive, and one-of-a-kind rooms in all of Tuscany. Surrounded by arched windows and baroque frescos, we set our table to offer a picturesque view of the Chianti countryside.

Every detail – from the texture of our linens to the tablescape draping to the fine tablescape glassware – was inspired by the fine art in the space. Inspired by the layered textures of the surrounding oil paintings, we brought in a thick, artfully folded fern velvet tablecloth. For the place settings, we created a five-layer setting reminiscent of the classic Tuscan style place settings paired with vintage silver flatware and crystal glassware. Tuscan-inspired moments permeated the tablescape design, with vintage compotes filled with fresh fruit often depicted in Italian renaissance oil paintings. Yet we balanced the traditional elements with luxe, modern floral arrangements that layered hydrangeas, lisianthus and garden blooms. And back in the garden, we hosted an aperol spritz bar to bring in modern delights – just one unique and interactive experience to delight guests for a reception in Italy.

We felt every texture, detail and nuance of this day to create a design worked in harmony with the rich history of Villa Corsini. And that’s why you hire Mae&Co - because you deserve an experience where no detail goes overlooked.

Masseria Moroseta, Puglia, Italy

Intimate weddinig design

Finding the perfect venue and location is the first step in designing a stunning and timeless wedding weekend. We do things differently; we don’t just pick the venue we have seen 100 times or whatever is easiest. We don’t put a time limit on this part of our process, we search high and low to provide our clients with options that are one-of-a-kind and perfectly suited for the experience they want to share with their favorite people. And we’ll go to the most remote and undiscovered parts of any country to find something that feels perfect.

Last fall, we had the privilege of working at Masseria Moroseta – a minimal and elegant farmhouse tucked away in the rural countryside of Puglia, Italy. This modern masseria, a reimagined Italian farmhouse, is the perfect destination for those seeking a peaceful respite from the hustle of high-profile engagements and busy corporate culture. This luxury Italian venue strikes the perfect balance of nature, good food, design and beauty and we couldn’t have been more inspired by the tranquil, peaceful atmosphere of this Ostuni estate.

When designing the color palette for this venue, we wanted it to feel calm and lush while also having a subtle pop that simultaneously elevated and complemented the space. So we opted for shades of blue and lavender to create contrast and visual interest – it’s one of the many ways we made this design unique while staying cohesive to the space throughout the ceremony and reception.

For our ceremony design at Masseria Moroseta, we pulled inspiration from the space’s natural surroundings, like the soft olive grove greens and the smooth texture of white stone. We loved the rural simplicity of this Italian wedding venue, so we opted for an understated ceremony aisle with clusters of soft white orchids and blue delphiniums, leading to lush floral arrangements of ivory roses and blue hydrangeas spilling from clay pots to frame our couple. The earthly stoneware mirrored the natural setting of the venue, while creating a soft, organic cascade from the pool backdrop to the ceremony site.

In the reception space, we brought in freestanding chandeliers to create a moody, ethereal vibe with modern and high-end undertones. Our earthy-inspired Italian wedding vision came to life with natural linen textures, vintage Italian garden chairs, dynamic periwinkle florals and soft candlelight. The elevated chandeliers added dramatic flair to the tablescape arrangements of fennel fronds, stone and monobloom floral clusters. Every detail from the crystal glassware to the soft textured detailing on the linen napkins elevated a sense of refined luxury at this modern Italian masseria.

Designing a space to not only compliment but also contrast the surrounding venue is one of our specialties. And as the sun dipped below the Mediterranean Sea and our chandeliers illuminated the intimate alfresco dining setup, we knew this experience designing at Masseria Moroseta was one we would never forget.

The Bowery Hotel, New York

Sea and Billy’s Wedding

Sea and Billy’s romantic wedding at the Bowery Hotel in New York is master class in creating a design with modern elegance that complements old world glamour. When you’re working with an abundance of textures, it takes a certain finesse to strike a perfect balance between modern touches and vintage detail. And the final design is a clear example of how creating the right design for our clients can be so important when executing a wedding our clients will remember for a lifetime.

We spent weeks working to find the perfect venue for Sea and Billy to create the feel that we all wanted for the weekend. The more I dove into the iconic, Bowery Hotel, the more I knew there wasn’t a better fit. Upon setting up a walkthrough, from the moment Sea and Billy stepped foot in New York’s Bowery Hotel, they knew this venue was the perfect fit. This classic New York hotel is a cultural icon – a mirror to the old-world elegance of 1930’s and ‘40’s glamour. Deeply inspired by high fashion, big band jazz and vintage warmth, Sea trusted our team to bring her and Billy’s vision of timeless, New York ambiance to life for their wedding day at the Bowery Hotel.

After kicking off the wedding weekend with an intimate rehearsal dinner at the well known, River Cafe in Brooklyn, we poured all our energy into creating a timeless and elevated experience for our couple and their guests. On the morning of their wedding, Sea and Billy slipped into high fashion pieces whose textures and details permeated the design for the entire wedding day. Sea wore Manolo Blahnik slingbacks and a Vivienne Westwood Long Cocette dress, layered with a silk skirt and bolero to match. And Billy dressed in head-to-toe designer fashion, with a Laurent black tuxedo, a Prada bowtie and Gucci lace-up oxfords.

The New York wedding ceremony took place at the St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral, a centuries-old landmark in Nolita that carried both historical and spiritual significance for our couple. To amplify the emotional gravity of the space, we worked with Winsome Floral to create a large-scale, cascading floral installment that framed the entrance and cascaded gracefully along the basilica. The luxe, modern floral design not only juxtaposed the historic frame of the cathedral, but it also created a runway-inspired frame that welcomed guests to step into a space that felt at once both modern and historic, in a word, it felt otherworldly.

For Sea and Billy’s wedding reception at The Bowery Hotel in New York, we pulled inspiration from the space’s fixed, distinctive elements like the vintage floor tile, the velvet curtains and the brick walls that evoked old world glamour. In a busy, vintage space, we knew our work was cut out for us: we wanted to create a clean, simple, modern design while adding vintage touches that complemented the space instead of competing with it.

As guests made their way to the cocktail hour, they gathered around the Bowery’s bar that opened onto a picturesque patio overlooking the city. Prohibition-inspired tunes from the jazz ensemble Baby Soda brought a lively, NYC café feel to the setting. Amidst spritzes and hors d'oeuvres, we created an electric atmosphere with bistro seating, powder-blue linens and rich, dramatic florals.

In the reception space, our vintage-inspired vision came to life with a warm glow of candelabras, chandeliers draped in modern florals and a perfect mix of new old magic. Inspired by muted but rich color tones, artful fashion and timeless elements – every detail from the shape of the flatware to the rims of glasses to the floral colors had meaning and intention behind it. For the colors, we knew we wanted to bring in sea green linens – a perfect complement to the Bowery’s blush tiles and deep green velvet curtains. The florals, too, brought in lavender hues to pop against the greens while creating a sense of romantic nostalgia.

For the tablescape, to bring in 1930’s vibe, we layered a vintage lace runner and sienna velvet napkins atop a raw linen tablecloth to balance an old-world luxe feel with modern elegance. The delicate balance between new and old extended to every design choice, including an artful layer of vintage mis-matched salad plates atop modern stoneware dinner plates resting on textured chargers. All of these details worked in tandem to bring in a lot of textures in a cohesive and modern way.

For the florals, minimal arrangements and natural fruit balanced with the dramatic height of the candelabra. The softness of florals and fruit created a seamless cohesion with the tablescape design while mirroring the fruit-filled tablescapes of vintage New York dinner parties.  Every detail, from the champagne tower, sprinkled with edible petals to dessert table filled with sweets from Lucie Franc de Ferriere, added to the understated elegance of this vintage, old-world inspired New York wedding at the Bowery.

As the evening unfolded and Sea changed into a short Magda Butrym dress, complemented by Jimmy Choo heels, Billy and Sea’s classic New York wedding at the Bowery Hotel reminded us that it’s not about following trends and doing what everyone else is doing. It's about making your own trends. It’s about taking on the challenge. It’s about thinking outside the box and creating something that’s unique to our couples and what they are passionate about.

It's not easy, but that usually makes it much more worthwhile. And that’s what made this iconic luxury New York wedding one of our favorite events to date.

Casa Adela, San Miguel De Allende Mexico

An intimate wedding

Sometimes the most luxurious details look the simplest, and this intimate, luxury wedding day at Casa Adela is no exception. Set just outside San Miguel de Allende, Casa Adela offers couples a private slice of serenity away from all the city hustle. It’s one of the most unique wedding venues in Mexico, with a dynamic range of styles, textures and landscapes filling every corner of the property. Casa Adela bridges vintage Spanish influence with modern Italian flair, making the venue – and the couples it attracts and the designs it inspires – wholly unique.

On a wedding weekend, every little detail matters. From the flowers to the napkins to the place cards, taking time to capture each element helps to create timeless memories that reflect the feeling of a place, and the story of the couple. As luxury wedding designers, we create everything with intention. And for this Mexico destination wedding at Casa Adela, every texture, color and design element we chose had to be a perfect complement for the foliage, landscape and architecture of this luxury wedding venue.

Our tablescape was the crescendo of this intimate dinner – set intentionally in the courtyard surrounded by pops of green foliage and peachy, stucco walls. As a nod to the venue’s juxtaposition of old-world Spanish elegance and modern Italian minimalism, we leaned into creating moments that paired contrasting elements to elevate the two defining personalities of Casa Adela.

At the heart of it all, we wanted to let the dimension of the space for itself. We designed a simple set up that would complement Casa Adela’s colors and textures, focusing on a muted and neutral color palette of whites, ivories and soft pops of green. We leveraged negative space between tablescape elements and monobloom floral clusters to create a simple design that wouldn’t compete with the surroundings. But as a nod to the venue’s juxtaposition of Italian and Spanish detail, we chose place setting elements that both heightened luxurious details and showcased countryside comfort to create an overall elevated and classic vibe.

We paired intricate vintage plates with simple glassware, marrying that old Spanish opulence with modern minimalism. And in the vintage, patterned plates, we opted for pieces with green filigree to play off the surrounding greens in the courtyard. Grapes and limes on the tabletop heighten the color continuity throughout the space, creating an organic contrast to the clear glassware and soft whites of the linens, flowers and candlelight.

Every detail of this wedding tablescape, from the color to the textures down to the location of the dinner, works in tandem to tell a story. A story about a space defined by two identities, a perfect reflection of a marriage represented by two individuals, coming together as one for an evening under the stars in the heart of San Miguel’s desert oasis.

Calamigos Ranch, Malibu

Katy and Cam’s Wedding

When clients trust us with their dreams and allow us to think outside the box, that’s when the magic happens – and Katy and Cam’s Calamigos Ranch wedding was no exception. We are seeing more and more clients invest in a full wedding weekend experience for their guests, and Katy and Cam’s Malibu destination wedding was the perfect mix of classy, elevated, elegant and fun.

From the very beginning, Katy and Cam wanted their wedding weekend to feel like a big party for all their friends and family traveling from outside the country and across state lines. So on night one, we kicked off the festivities with a luxury fair experience, leaving everyone's jaw on the floor with an epic welcome party to start their weekend.

Creating a full carnival for Katy and Cam’s rehearsal dinner was no easy feat. Everything from navigating space to designing a tablescape that wouldn’t compete with a busy backdrop to hand selecting and coordinating the build out of fair rides – we made sure no detail was left untouched. Guests spent the evening enjoying popcorn and cotton candy on iconic carnival rides, including the Sizzler, a Carousel, a Super Slide and a Mechanical Bull, while Katy and Cam stole kisses on the Ferris Wheel, watching the sun set over Calamigos Ranch.

As one of our most unique luxury reception dinners to date, we loved creating a minimal, garden-inspired tablescape with simple, scalloped plates, clusters of fresh fruit and florals and an understated, striped tablecloth – the perfect nod to nostalgic carnival booth fabrics with an upscale feel. Floating candles and crystal glassware offered a subtle nod to the bright bulbs of carnival lights after dark but with a modern and luxurious twist, our specialty.

For Katy and Cam’s wedding day at Calamigos, we pulled inspiration from Malibu’s rolling hills – a place that feels like a slice of Italian countryside on the west coast. We elevated the ceremony site with bistro chairs and a lush flowing aisle, leading up to a lush and wild floral installation. Dressed in luxury, couture silk by Ines Di Santo, Katy looked like a vision as she exchanged vows with Cam under a centuries-old oak tree.

As guests made their way to the cocktail hour and the reception set up, they found their names on a unique installation with garden-like floral installations weaving throughout the pillars.

The Italian-inspired magic continued at the reception dinner hosted at Calamigos Birchwood Room – an intimate outdoor space where crystal chandeliers swing gently from the trees overhead, casting a soft romantic glow over the evening.  We styled the tables with oversized, stone pottery and unique touches like full artichokes and scalloped glassware. And our team filled the space with unique, garden-inspired arrangements with pops of blush, coral and ivory, elevating the soft and playful luxury in this Malibu garden setting. We added thoughtful details throughout, including bar menus printed on organic linen for an elegant but natural feel. And with a champagne coupe tower and a bespoke lambeth cake from The Butter End, the luxury details from this Calamigos Ranch wedding speak for themselves.

Katy and Cam’s Malibu wedding weekend had it all – from an extravagant carnival welcome dinner to an after dark pool party to an intimate reception dinner, we loved every part of this celebration at Calamigos and we’d do it all again in a heartbeat.

MOLLY Holm’s BACHELORETTE PARTY

At Mae&Co Creative, we love a good party. And when it comes to throwing a show-stopping bachelorette, we know it's all about creating over the top luxury, high fashion designs and creating unforgettable memories for your closest friends and family. For Molly Holm, fiancée to TOMS Shoe Founder Blake Mycoskie, her bachelorette party was nothing short of spectacular. Hosted at Amangiri, this three-day celebration was filled with spirituality, opulence and good vibes.

DAY ONE:

The bachelorette party kicked off with the guests arriving on private flights and being greeted with vegan smoothies upon arrival for a Kundalini yoga class at Amangiri. From there, the group participated in a unique meditation practice and Hapé ceremony led by Sarah Richie. This spiritual experience in somatic alchemy and breath-work allowed the girls to connect and align their hearts and chakras, setting the tone for a weekend filled with good energy and positivity. To create a soft, healing space for Molly and her girls to connect, we designed a welcome ceremony room complete with large feathery arrangements, full draping with luxe chiffon and white silk and a floral mandala. The setting was complete with a large lounge set up with fur rugs, poufs and an altar, creating a space that was truly enchanting.

In the evening, the festivities were inspired by none other than Marie Antoinette. When Molly asked us to create the most stunning Marie Antionette themed dinner for the first night of her bachelorette party at Amangiri, I could see it instantly: pink ruffles, extravagant lighting, fluffy florals and vintage scrolls as menus - and it came together seamlessly. The guests dressed up in custom-made wigs, costumes, and makeup in true Rococo fashion, with pannier skirts and decorative frills. We transformed Amangiri’s Desert Lounge into a Versailles-inspired dinner party, with overhead crystal chandeliers, cascading pink flowers and vines spilling onto the table and a lush mirror-filled floral runner. Every detail was luxe and custom-made, with specially designed pink-hued tablescapes, custom chiffon linens, rose-tinted glassware and uniquely designed cakes. The day ended with a dance party into the early hours of the morning, making for the perfect first day for this unforgettable bachelorette party at Amangiri.

DAY TWO:
For day two of Molly’s bachelorette party at Amangiri, we designed and built a full dance club in the middle of the desert. And to say we were happy with the finished product is an understatement. After a morning spent recharging with spa treatments, the girls glammed up for a space cowgirl disco-themed dinner in the middle of the moon - the hidden crater at Amangiri’s Raven’s Nest site. We loved creating the details for this perfect second dinner to a three day bachelorette, with a luxury disco tablescape adorned with black orchids, melted disco balls featured and dynamic candlelight. As the sun dipped below the surrounding sandstone, galaxy lights created an Kusama-like setting with radiating light bouncing off the canyon. As guests sipped espresso martinis and popped gold umbrellas under a canopy of suspended disco lights, the starry-night ambience set the perfect tone for a night of celebration.

After dinner, the gals made their way to a disco dance party. Building this drop dead dance club with a custom bar set up was no easy feat, but it was nothing short of extraordinary. A live DJ and saxophone player brought the energy to this extravagant disco space cowboy party that felt like a scene from a luxury Burning Man pop up - complete with a raunchy bachelorette ice luge, disco dancers and a custom s'mores set up. When clients trust us with their dreams and allow us to think outside of the box, thats when the magic happens, and this opulence disco dance party in the heart of southwest desert was no exception.

DAY THREE:
We capped the weekend with a cozy jungle themed dinner, complete with lush trees and plant installations creating an overgrown and organic jungle vibe. A perfect meal before Molly and her girls enjoyed a final spiritual, closing ceremony to set intentions for the milestone to come.

Molly’s bachelorette weekend was an experience filled with majestic canyons, disco decadence, lavish installs and truly monumental moments. And we couldn’t have been more thankful to be part of the magic for this luxury event.

Paradero Hotel, Todos Santos, Mexico

Whitney and Stefen’s Wedding

From our very first meeting, Whitney was one of those dream clients where we connected instantly, and we couldn’t wait to work together through thick and through thin to design her and Stefan’s dream wedding at the Paradero luxury resort in Todos Santos, Mexico. In our initial conversations, Whitney told me "I want my wedding to feel like a dream" and we were determined to make that happen for her, plus some. We wanted to find somewhere unique, that also matched Whit and Stef's personal aesthetic and vibe. When I found Paradero Hotel in Todos Santos Mexico, I knew it would be the perfect place to plan their weekend wedding experience - and they felt the same.

Whit and Stef wanted to create the ultimate three-day destination wedding experience for their guests, and we were honored to create a climatic experience for this wedding weekend. We started Whit and Stef's celebration off with welcome mocktails and s'mores in the flower field adjacent to the hotel itself. Low key music and string lighting created soft ambience throughout the space, keeping the focus on the couple’s connection and the overwhelming sense of celebration as all of our guests arrived.

For every event throughout the weekend, we challenged ourselves to utilize different spaces on the stunning property so that no experience would feel, smell or taste the same. For our welcome dinner, we completely took over the communal area of Paradero and brought in custom-built tables and installed 6-foot ribbon chandeliers above them. This design completely transformed the space and added an authentic, Mexican-inspired vibe while keeping the modern, neutral architecture of the venue itself. Every detail for this night was within our overall color palette but we learned heavily into the more neutral and modern tones like ivory, white, black and tan. Our place settings complimented our chandeliers by incorporating different "fringe" elements and we worked with our paper good designer to create beautiful, landscape style menus wrapped in a handmade crochet paper. Lastly, we kept our floral design minimal so as to not distract from our statement pieces, and utilized stone vessels and dried elements throughout.

For our Paradero wedding day design, we chose locations on the property that we had never seen used before to make the big day feel completely unique and special to Whit and Stef. We wanted to highlight the architecture of the venue while also complimenting the desert surroundings. So we placed the ceremony in the middle of the "cactus garden" and set up our chairs in a very organic formation so it would feel as though we were almost hidden amongst the landscape. The ceremony design was a true labor of love that I’d do 1,000 times over again. Because when you build an aisle and ceremony so grand, people mistake it for part of the venue’s architecture - that’s a good feeling.

Our team designed a stunning aisle and ceremony backdrop that complimented the lush surroundings,  building height and depth to accentuate the ceremony as the most important moment in the day. We worked with a local production company to build, paint and install 12, 10-foot half arches that were placed in precisely the right location to create a stunning shot from every angle. These arches were color matched with the hotel building themselves and them custom tinted to a lighter shade so they would really stand out. We then adorned them with lush, monochromatic clusters of florals for a lux but organic feel, bringing in more blush and mauve tones to give it that "pop" amongst the desert landscape.

This luxury wedding ceremony in Todos Santos hit the mark in every way. Whit shared: “My heart could’ve exploded from the amount of gratitude I felt on my wedding day. With every heartbreak I’ve met, with every loss I’ve felt… it all led me to Stefan. I felt like the luckiest girl in the world that Stefan was choosing me. There was magic in the air, I was the happiest I’ve ever been.”

The magic continued at the reception dinner hosted at the half-moon pool where we created a stunning reveal for the guests. We set up our tables to mock the half-moon shape of the pool, in an arched formation and then installed twinkle lights that stretch from over the tables all the way past the pool and then water-falled down into what looked like the ever expansive desert. We intentionally designed the lighting to pass over the pool because the reflection that was created in the pool made the entire space look dreamy, almost starry, everywhere you looked. We used organic linens and stoneware but paired them with large, lush, blush toned florals for an elegant but natural feel.

Two years in the making, Whitney Simmon’s destination wedding at Paradero in Todos Santos was made possible by her and Stefan’s unwavering trust in our team, and we’ll never get over this day we created with so much love and intention.

DULCE & DENNIS | FULL WEEKEND BUYOUT

Dulce and Dennis are truly special people - both with unique backgrounds, vibrant, genuine personalities and an obvious, unconditional devotion and love for one another. Right from the beginning, we knew that their wedding day needed to be the ultimate celebration; emanating not only their relationship, but also their shared appreciation for nature and adventure.

Utilizing both the vastness of the property and the high-end style of the common areas, we designed this special Amangiri event to be both raw and wild, but also extravagant and luxurious. Our couple chose to completely personalize their special weekend and treated their guests to multiple resort activities and experiences. From a guided hike of Antelope Canyon to world renowned, luxury spa services - their guests enjoyed a truly idyllic, 5 star weekend.

We spent over a year working on this intricate design, with multiple trips to the resort to ensure our vision would translate as intended in the space. We used unique areas that had never been utilized for a wedding before, creating a truly one of kind event for our special couple.

The ceremony, intended to capture the vastness of the desert, was minimalistic and organic in style. Earthy, dried floral arrangements scattered the pathway and an asymmetrical modern arbor framed the couple. The Sons of Serendip, a famous classical quartet, added to the already magical mood with their incredible live processional songs.

A 6 foot tall, three-piece seating chart, specially designed and created by us, with custom vinyl decals by Carta Plena, welcomed guests into the Mesa Breezeway, where two long, candlelit tables waited for their arrival. To make the grand breezeway feel romantic and intimate we had sheer, flowing material suspended from the ceiling and trailing down to create a curtain, which hid the space from guests until it was time for the grand reveal.

Amangiri is where our sweet couple’s engagement began and is a place that now holds life’s most monumental moments. There are no words to describe the remote location, stunning venue and extravagant ammenties that are Amangiri. We’ll leave you with this - The morning after the wedding, the resort arranged for a private helicopter ride up to a mesa for a sunrise photo shoot, where the newlyweds soaked in the first quiet moments of the day as husband and wife.

A message from our bride:

“Manda from Mae&Co Creative, and her whole team are incredible women, that are masters at what they do. Manda is basically Wonder Woman - she will go above and beyond to understand what your dreams are and what the vision for your wedding is, and she will make sure to exceed every single expectation you had, and blow it out of the park. She will take the time to get to know you as a couple, to make sure she can portray YOU on your special day, and not do a "copy/paste" version of some other event, like a lot of people in the industry do, and she will understand your dreams, and make each of them come true - even the ones you didn't even know you had. She is kind, caring, outstandingly creative, and all in all, the best person ever to be our partner in crime for this magical day. She will take care of every detail, every vendor, every hurdle there is to make sure you are take care of, and will make you feel SO pampered through the whole process.”

KIERA & AHMED | MICRO WEDDING WEEKEND

Kiera and Ahmed’s elegant Amangiri wedding is proof that a small guest count is the perfect excuse for unconventional elegance. From the beginning, Kiera and Ahmed valued the intimacy and sacredness that a small guest count would bring to their wedding weekend at Amangiri. And we know know that sometimes it’s the tiniest details, and the most intentional relationships, that make all the difference.

When we started designing this wedding at Amangiri, we knew our couple wanted to pair ethereal elegance with organic minimalism. With a small, intimate guest count we wanted to amplify the vast feeling of the surrounding desert by making every detail feel as if it was growing out of Amangiri’s natural landscape. We created our ceremony design atop the desert lounge ledge with a backdrop of mirrored pillars to reflect the surrounding desert landscape. We loved working with Siren Floral Co to bring our edgy and earthy design to life with monochromatic floral clusters that cascaded effortlessly through the space.

After the ceremony, the guests enjoyed drinks at a custom cocktail bar before wandering to the reception site. Set in the private Raven’s Nest space overlooking Amangiri, we wanted this beautiful location to speak for itself. Hidden within the curves of desert sandstone, we designed an overhead, tunnel-like structure with draped chiffon to create an ethereal, romantic space in the cliffs. Layering texture on texture, lush florals swirled around clusters of organic rocks and dramatic taper candles. Our luxury tablescape design featured neutral sand linens to complement the colors of Amangiri, and we elevated the natural, desert vibes by incorporating hand-dyed linens and bone-colored ceramics. This reception set up for 15 guests took three team members eight hours in the direct sun with 103 degree weather - but when we saw our couple settle into the cliffside for their reception we knew instantly it was all worth it.

These two ended their evening enjoying a hookah lounge under the starry skies - en experience they’ll remember for a lifetime.

KIERA & AHMED | REHEARSAL DINNER

Hidden deep within Amangiri’s surrounding rock formations is the Chinle Site, a unique and atmospheric setting for fine dining amid the natural serenity of the desert. The day before their wedding, Kiera and Ahmed invited an intimate group of guests to enjoy cocktails, a private dinner and live music in a dramatic and chic space.

While the wedding day was an earthy and neutral affair, this rehearsal dinner at Amangiri was inspired by Kiera’s vision of bright red and pink monobloom arrangements. Designed with drama, we styled this tablescape with elegant textural details including edgy glassware, black brushed flatware, and blush candles growing up from the lush floral clusters.

A modern and dramatic affair, this intimate dinner party at Amangiri set a tone for this luxury desert wedding under the Utah sky.

STEPHANIE & JUSTIN | INTIMATE WEDDING

Choosing to elope gives you the freedom to be intentional and plan your day around details and experience, which allows you to fully connect and be present as you begin your marriage together. When Stephanie and Justen came to us and asked if we could help them “plan a Zoom wedding” in the middle of Amangiri’s 600-acre remote landscape, we knew this day would be special. We knew that this was about more than just setting up a tripod, it was an opportunity to help them invite family into their elopement in a way that felt intentional and thoughtful – Covid be damned.

While this wedding was incredibly intimate with a nine-person guest list, don’t underestimate the work that goes into planning, designing or styling a small elopement. Just because there are less people on the guest list, does not mean there is less time spent choosing locations, colors, textures, vendors, candlesticks, napkins, furniture, plates - We take great care in designing experiences where every detail holds meaning and the couple can step back and truly experience the effortless elegance of their day.

For Stephanie and Justen, we love the unique challenge of designing a day steeped in tradition yet filled with innovation. The ceremony design incorporated traditional Jewish ceremony elements, including blessings over two cups wine, breaking of the glass, signing of ketubah, but we elevated the chuppah to incorporate a modern, luxe feel with sculptural and dramatic blooms and pampas grass.

And while this wasn’t the first luxury wedding at Amangiri that we’ve designed and styled, we loved that this elopement gave us the opportunity to explore new areas throughout the property. Amangiri is more than a luxury hotel, it’s a staggering landscape of canyons, mesas, mountains, and desert with so many unique locations. For Stephanie and Justen’s ceremony, we designed a unique floor plan at the Desert Lounge that prioritized sweeping landscape views to frame our couple. For the reception, we helped our vendors navigate from the intimate pavilions at Camp Sarika to the atmospheric Chinle Site – the ideal place for private dining and performances in the desert. At the stunning Chinle Site, we created a timeless tablescape with a sand, white, gold, and cream color palette. These neutral tones fell together perfectly amid the natural serenity of the desert, and the arid textures of lunaria, dried florals paired with the soft textures of cheesecloth runners and place setting details created a delicate, understated feel.

In addition to designing and styling this Amangiri elopement, we loved planning all of the nuanced timing and events throughout the day. While you might not think you need a planner for an intimate wedding or elopement, trust us, you’ll be so thankful to have someone seasoned in coordinating details, working behind the scenes to bring your day to life. For Stephanie and Justen, we helped them set up a Zoom experience that invited loved ones to not only watch but also participate in the elopement. We set up iPhones, tripods, and microphones to make sure guests were virtually present to experience every moment – from listening to the swells of live music as Stephanie walked down the aisle to chiming in to give a toast from the comfort of their own homes, we loved being able to create connections between our couple and their guests, both near and far. We also helped them add unique details throughout their day, including live music at multiple sites, a live painter who captured the ceremony experience in real time to preserve their elopement, and live performances from Navajo musicians to honor the site and enrich the meaning of their experience.

We’re so proud of this stunning, unique desert wedding and the incredible team that helped make this beauty come to life, especially in a time when having your wedding as planned can be so difficult, but so worth it.

Designing beautiful spaces in remote corners of the world brings us so much joy - we’re so thrilled to share this one with you

SALLY & FOSTEr’s Wedding

Tucked in the rolling hills of Oregon’s wine country, the Willamette Valley is one of the most undiscovered luxury wedding destinations in the United States. While Sonoma and Napa draw West Coast crowds, the northern Willamette Valley region wows with lush greenery and rolling hills – creating the perfect backdrop for a luxury estate wedding in wine country.

From the very beginning, Sally and Foster knew they wanted to tie the knot in Oregon. They wanted a venue that felt unique and elegant, and they invited us to transform a private estate residence into a luxury wedding venue.

When you trust us to fully design and produce a one-of-a-kind day for you…. that’s when the magic happens. For the ceremony, we wanted to create a romantic and elegant design on the estate’s great deck overlooking the Willamette Valley. To keep the focus on our couple and the stunning natural backdrop, we built a modern, black square arbor adorned with lush floral installations growing wildly and naturally in dramatic clusters. We loved worked with Noble Floral Co. to bring our high-end, romantic wedding vibe to life with unique elements like mosses, grasses and soft white florals.

To amplify the sexy and understated elements for this black-tie luxury wedding, we incorporated matte blacks and ivories throughout the design. Every detail from the black bentwood chairs to the ivory hydrangeas worked together to create a modern and high-end vibe for this luxury wine country wedding.

From years of experience as a luxury wedding planner, we know that when you’re creating a wedding venue at a private residence, details are everything. A few of our favorite reception elements include a custom-built bar, a wall of twinkle lights and modern and romantic signage from Wildhouse Ink – we take great care every last detail, including finding a faultless font that hints at a perfect mixture of 1920’s Hollywood glamour while exuding modern elegance.

And to build out a dramatic reception space, we designed a large-scale tent with overhead floral installations. Rows over hanging moss and unique, greenery details completely transformed the feel of the tent, creating a luxe, modern high-end aesthetic that left both us and our guests speechless.

Beneath the overhead installations, our design team styled a luxury and timeless reception. Custom menus and place cards rested atop each place setting, featuring black flatware, smoke-colored goblets, stoneware plates and brass details. And the center of each table featured unique, grassy details and black taper candles to create a luxe, dramatic feel invigorated through height, dimension and style.

Private property build outs at luxury country estates are a favorite of ours. Getting to design a space from scratch that’s completely unique to our clients is both so challenging and so rewarding. And when we watched our couple saber a bottle of champagne and end the night barefoot on the dance floor, singing their hearts out, we didn’t doubt for a second that it was all worth it.

RONNIE & BEN’S WEDDING

There’s no match for the mid-century elegance of Timber Cove: a modern-rustic resort and luxury wedding venue tucked along the Sonoma Coast.

Timber Cove is a one-of-a-kind hotel perched on a dramatic bluff high above the Pacific Ocean. Situated along the rugged Sonoma coastline, Timber Cove is a breathtaking luxury venue that allows guests to embrace nature while relaxing in a casual, sophisticated space.

This luxury California wedding venue is a perfect reflection of our couple, Ronnie and Ben, who love to enjoy the finer things in life, but they always find themselves drawn to the quiet simplicity of the ocean. Ronnie and Ben planned their wedding to be warm and intimate, while still being luxuriously celebrated. At Timber Cove, the venue’s warm hues and sturdy timbers throughout the property exude cozy elegance, which inspired our wedding design.

When we started designing this wedding at Timber Cove, we knew our couple wanted to pair extravagance with a lowkey vibe that reflected their love for the natural beauty of the Sonoma Coast. Ronnie and Ben wanted their day to feel cozy and rustic, and we loved this opportunity to completely reinterpret what “rustic” looks like in the context of a luxury coastal wedding – we’re all about pushing boundaries and bringing a new look and feel to luxury weddings.

Our ceremony design was inspired by Timber Cove’s succulent garden, set amongst the coastal cliffs. We loved working with Selva Floral to bring our upscale, rugged coastal vision to life by creating wild floral installations lining along the aisles – leading up to a lush floral-adorned wood chuppah. The delicate garden-inspired seating paired with organic grass and floral installations created the perfect backdrop for a ceremony to remember.

After the ceremony, guests wandered the Timber Cove property to enjoy cocktails and live music on the deck. We knew the reception was going to be a highlight of the wedding weekend experience (our couple set a high bar after treating their guests to incredible experiences including morning yoga, wine tasting and guided hiking), so we went all out designing a luxury reception area with a sailcloth tent and a blanket of twinkle lights. A picturesque snapshot of seaside elegance.

Our luxury tablescape design featured natural linen runners topped with organic floral arrangements featuring succulents, natural grasses and ivory blooms. We elevated the natural, coastal vibes by incorporating pops of ocean-inspired teals and greens and romantic blue hues. Every detail was intentional, everything from the natural wood chargers to the turquoise linen napkins to the engraved wood menus works in tandem to strike a perfect balance of trendiness and subtlety.

Our favorite part of the job is hearing our clients tell us their hopes and dreams and then turning into reality, times 100. And as Ronnie and Ben spent the evening in a starry night tent with their closest people (and their dogs), we couldn’t have been happier to be part of this weekend filled with cocktails, music and nature. Completely enchanted and wild, this luxury wedding at Timber Cove stands apart.

River Cabaan, Oregon Coast

Rachel and David’s Micro Wedding

At a chic mid-century cabin on the Wilson River, David and Rachel joined us for a celebration to remember at the River Cabaan estate. This award-winning property is renowned in the Pacific Northwest for its secluded natural habitat and its elevated design, and we know this would be the perfect location for our couple to exchange vows along their own personal waterfront forest property.

Leaning into the organic river blues and forest greens of the Pacific Northwest, we designed this high- end micro wedding to feature modern and luxe vibes, with a funky and unique Oregon feel. The paper goods incorporate creams, whites, blushes and soft ochre on letterpress – a perfect complement to the amber and neutral accents throughout the ceremony and reception design. And we leaned into a neutral-centric color palette of amber, blush, white and dusty sage throughout the ceremony and reception spaces.

We worked closely with Noble Floral Co. to create a ceremony space ceremony filled with cloud-like clusters to create an unstructured arch shape against the river backdrop. The lighter sage tones and pops of the dusty sienna tones juxtaposed the natural surroundings, and the organic ceremony arch shape – and the gown from Kinsley James Couture Bridal – were cascading and ethereal in shape and textures. The staggered and organic arch design and the layered, luxe fabric layers or the bridal gown tied in nicely to create an overall luxe vibe.

After the ceremony, the bride and groom wandered back to a luxe reception space that truly pushed artistic boundaries and rejuvenated creativity. We sourced velvet tablecloths, amber glassware and coup glasses to create a modern, minimalist feel. The design details were luxe and timeless – including mid-century-inspired cane-back chairs to match the venue architecture, oatmeal linen seats and blush napkins to pop against the luxe velluto tablecloths and organic fruit and produce details to give homage to the agricultural coastal surroundings.

Every detail from this wedding felt so inspired. This beautiful cabin on the Wilson River near the iconic Oregon Coast inspired a luxe, organic micro wedding that proves even the simplest setting can elevate effortless elegance.

Rosewood Miramar Beach Hotel, Santa Barbara, CA

JONA & ZACH’S WEDDING

Jona and Zack’s elegant beach wedding at the Rosewood Miramar Beach was straight from a dream. Effortless, elegant and edgy, this Santa Barbara wedding transformed a luxury five-star hotel into the party of a lifetime. Rosewood Miramar Beach is a luxury wedding venue resting above one of the most pristine and idyllic beaches on the California coast. Designed with style, grace and glamour, we couldn’t wait to design and execute a timeless celebration at this idyllic coastal retreat.

As a music industry professional, our bride prioritized art, music and design for her wedding day. Everything from live music performances to gallery-worthy desserts was curated with intention, and it was an incredible honor to bring this day to life.

On the morning of their wedding day, Jona and Zack basked in luxury. Jona stepped into her luxury Vera Wang gown on the balcony of her Rosewood Miramar suite while Zack and their son Mercer explored the hotel grounds, eager to watch the day’s magic unfold.

For their ceremony, we created an elegant and timeless design. Our focal piece was a lush installation brimming with cloud-like white and ivory florals that spiraled around the arch the beams and cascaded onto the stairs and ground below. To create an edgy and chic vibe, we leaned into a classic black and white color palette – with pops of grey, beige and rose – to elevate the mood. Black bentwood chairs added an edgy feel to the elegant ceremony setting, and white aisle runners and floral installations created stark contrast to create a luxe, modern feel.

After the ceremony, Jona and Zack kicked off their reception with glasses of bubbly. For the dinner to follow, we designed an edgy and modern reception in the hotel’s luxury space. On every reception table, we used high-end fabrics like chiffon table runners, custom nude gauze and natural ivory linens to pull in a soft, romantic vibe. Then we layered in focal accents with black taper candles, matte black flatware and smoke-colored glassware to add drama to the design. Floral details elevated the tablescape design, as we worked with Siren Floral Co. to design large and lush living garlands that sprawled across each table, spilling gracefully down to the floor.

This luxury Santa Barbara wedding wouldn’t be complete without thoughtful touches were you might least expect them. The cake – the bride’s only non-negotiable – wasn’t your average dessert. We sourced an edgy and ethereal cake from Jasmine Rae Cakes, creating a statement art masterpiece at the dessert table. For the first dance, the DJ sounds quieted and one of the bride’s clients, Shaun Ross, stepped onto the dance floor to serenade the couple for their first dance as husband and wife. Even the smallest details were given attention, including unique black signage and handmade cocktail menus from Carta Plena.

This modern and timeless Rosewood Miramar Beach wedding was one for the books.
